Nancy Mckee
McKee (Beasley), Nancy passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Harry Beasley and Alberta Beasley, husband, Paul B McKee III, and sisters Anne Marie Brannon and Harriette Elaine Kelly.
Nancy is survived by her children Laura Bainbridge (Bryan) and Paul B McKee IV M.D.; grandchildren Nolan, Tess and Tate Bainbridge; fiancé Bill Brannon; beloved Springer Spaniel, Bailey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and long time friends, Suzie, Pat, Kathy and Chris.
She was a graduate of Fairmont West High School and the Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. Nancy spent years as a dedicated nurse at Miami Valley Hospital, served as the Director of Nursing at Lincoln Park Manor and most recently provided care for patients and their families at Hospice of Dayton.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working in her yard, growing gardenias and countless hours soaking up the sun.
Nancy will forever be remembered for her radiant personality and compassionate heart.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 8 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432). A memorial service will be held Monday, August 9 at 10:00 AM at ST. George's Episcopal Church (5520 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH) In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make A Wish Foundation (2545 Farmers Dr. Suite 300, Columbus, OH 43235).
