Nancy Josephine Gillespie

Nancy Gillespie (nee Grillot), 62, passed away after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vitalis and Dolores Grillot, two sisters, Virginia Johnson and Diane Ortiz, and two brothers, Gordon and Kenneth Bowers. She is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Greg, a daughter, Aimee Reed, a son, Matthew Gillespie, and two grandchildren Dianne Gillespie and Andrea Reed. She is also survived by one brother, David Grillot (Anne), and brothers-in-law, Michael Gillespie (Sandy) and Jim Gillespie, and a special sister-in-law, Patti Gillespie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She graduated from Julianne High School in 1965, attended Bowling Green University, and was an avid member of an online Pinochle Club. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). Funeral services will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery Chapel at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
