Nancy Eiler, age 94, of Waynesville, OH passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Quaker Heights Nursing Home. She was born on September 21, 1925, in Stoke On Trent, England. Later, she would become a "war-time-bride" after meeting her future husband, Robert Louis Eiler, Sr., in England while he was serving his country during World War II. They would eventually move to America to begin their lives together.
During her life, Nancy spent her time as a homemaker and raising her family. However, in her spare time she enjoyed the sport of bowling. Nancy became very competitive at the sport and won several city league bowling tournaments. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the country attending bowling tournaments. When having the opportunity, Nancy would even compete against professional bowlers. She was a member of the National Bowling Association and enjoyed following her favorite bowlers, Don Carter and Dick Weber. Nancy was also an accomplished seamstress. She would even make many of her and her family's own clothing.
Nancy is survived by her loving son, Robert Louis Eiler, Jr.; sisters, Edith, Brenda and Iris; she is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Earnest and Stanley.
The family is honoring Nancy's wishes not to have any services.
