Nancy Gail Burgess

Nancy Gail Benge-Burgess, (nee Allen), of New Carlisle, passed on Friday, October 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy's family doesn't want to remember the end, but in how she lived her life. She was born January 24, 1957 to the late Pearl L. Allen and Oma Allen Dollinger, (nee Hudson). In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, John Paul Benge; and sister, Sheila Adkins. She attended Fairborn High School.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Norris "Butch" Burgess of New Carlisle; children: Crystal Gail Benge of Crossville, TN and William Everett Benge (Fawn); grandchildren: Ashleigh Guthrie (Kendal), Alissa Bourne (Jake), Austin Cook (Abigail), Caihden Benge, Jaiden Wilkey, Lance Lowhorn, Camron Norris, Jayda Benge and John Paul Benge; great-grandchildren: Rugar and Rhett Guthrie and Aslan Cook; siblings: Eva Roudebush (John) of Okeana, OH, Mary Moorcroft of Fairborn, Phyllis Smith of New Carlisle, Rick Allen (Barb) of New Carlisle, Leonard Allen (Deby) of New Carlisle, Opal Chafin of Ary, KY and Tina Prater (Gary) of Eaton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nancy's family was the most important thing to her. She loved the Smoky Mountains, Tennessee and racing.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn. Contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to the American Cancer Society.
