Faris, Nada F., age 88, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Heartland of Miamisburg. Nada was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, and owned a beauty shop on Wyoming St. for over 30 years. Along with her husband, they belonged to Walnut Grove Country Club where they enjoyed friends, golf, and traveling. She was Worthy Matron of O.E.S. Susan Weist, Dayton Victory Chapter in1952, and High Priestess of Bara Court #15 in 1971.
Nada is survived by her daughters: Carrie Artman of Miamisburg and Connie White of Centerville; grandchildren: Craig mahan, Curtis Mahan, Lonnie Combs, Erin Garcia, Jennifer Krugh; great grandchildren: Cassandra Combs, Garrett Mahan, Nicholas Mahan, Owen Krugh, Leah Krugh; uncle: Bud Law; brothers-in-law: Bob and Roger Faris; dear friends: Rosemary & Bob Baty; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 58 years: Vannoy B. Faris; parents: Elmer & Mary K. Layford; and mother-in-law and father-in-law: Floyd & Ethel Faris.
Arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Centerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel).
