Myrtie M. Caperton

Myrtie Marie Caperton, 85, was born in Louisa, Kentucky, Lawrence county, July 17, 1923 to parents Julius and Sue York, with seven siblings, survived by brother Andy York of Lebanon, Oh., married to Berlin Caperton May 14, 1949 until his death in 2001. Myrtie had six children, preceded in death by Dorothy Lee and John Weston. Surviving children are Carroll Sue, Charles Edward, Doris June and James Robert, daughter in-law Marilee and grandchildren Joshua Cole and Adrian Berlin all of Dayton, Ohio. Myrtie was a devoted wife and loving mother. Myrtie followed the call of the Lord on March 30, 2009 after a lengthy illness at Hospice of Dayton, her family was at her side. Viewing to be held at Newcomers funeral home at 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Oh., viewing Thursday April 2 from 5-7p.m. with service immediately following. Graveside services and internment Friday April 3, at 12:00 noon at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W.Third St., Dayton, Oh. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hospice for the care of our mother during her final hours.
