Myra "Revina" (Doepel) Pizzino, age 85, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
She was born December 15th, 1935 in Chevrolet, KY to the late Mae (McCall) and Harmon Doepel. Revina managed several area Dry Cleaners during her career including Capitol Dry Cleaners, retiring from Cavalon Dry Cleaners after many years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest L. Doepel, Randal T. Doepel and Joe Doepel, sisters Delena Ramey and Regina Moore, along with nieces Jeanna Tobias, Linda Bothwell and Ginny Byrd, and nephews Paul Gregory Ramey and James Doepel Jr.
Revina is survived by her daughters, Carmela (Mark) Swiger, Tina (JR) Thomas; granddaughter Katie Swiger; brother Jim (Sherry) Doepel, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Revina loved her friends and family dearly as they did her.
Before getting dementia later in life, Revina loved gardening, cooking Sunday dinners for family, and shopping with her sister at their favorite boutique. She was also known to play a few pranks, her great sense of humor and a love for the Lord. She will always be remembered for her smile which lit up a room, her contagious laughter and her love for her family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
