Muriel Voss Irwin

Muriel Voss Irwin, age 98 of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Walnut Creek Assisted Living. She was born on January 10, 1923 in Davenport, Iowa to the late William and Laura Voss.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David L. Irwin, II and her son, William V. Irwin.
Muriel is survived by her daughter, Linda (Richard) Fuls; son, David (Dee) Irwin III; daughter-in-law, Joyce Irwin, grandchildren, Shelley Ross, Sherry Swigart, Carey Jackson, Marcy Opsahl, Stepahine Irwin, David Irwin IV, and William Irwin and 16 great-grandchildren.
She and her husband owned their own business, Irwin Enterpries, Inc. Muriel volunteered at church and on various committees while living at St. Leonards Retirement community and enjoyed gardening. The most important thing to her was family. Murial is loved and will be missed by all those who knew her.
In lieu of a public funeral or memorial service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial. She will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
