GILBERT, Murdis Ivory, age 97 of Dayton, went to be with her Lord on July 28, 2013. She was born in Homer, LA to the late Minnie and Elton Ivory. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Gilbert, Sr.; daughter, Betty Wilson; and sister, Darlene Rolen.
Murdis is survived by her children, Roger Gilbert, Jr. and Robert Gilbert of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Elton Ivory; many grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Chris Gilbert, Barbara Gilbert, Debbie Wilson, Teresa Wilson, Lauretta Wilson, Nancy and James Kenny and Mark Wilson; best friend, Annie Estelle; and many other loving relatives and friends.
