Mo'rrell M. Fontenot

Mo'rrell M. Fontenot, age 33, of Dayton, transitioned on July 28, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1991 to Stephanie Fontenot and Terrance Paschal. 

 Mo’rrell was a very kind and loving person. To be around Mo’rrell you just knew it was going to be a good day full of spontaneous fun and laughter. Mo’rrell loved listening to music and just living life. He was very compassionate about his family and friends and always loyal. He was and still will be a great son, father, brother, grandson and friend. Although you are no longer here in the flesh you will always be loved and missed. You’ll never be forgotten.

He is survived by his mother, Stephanie Fontenot; his daughter, Jie’lle Glenn; his sisters & brothers: Shante' Paschal, Dominique Fontenot, Terrance Fontenot, T'Neshia Fontenot and Laruko Woods II; Aunties Michelle Addison; Selina Taylor and Florist Paschal. Uncles Stephen Fontenot; Willie Clyde Jr.; McDarren and Monty Paschal. Grandparents: Lucy & Henry Fontenot; Willie Clyde Sr. & Delores Paschal and a special Grandmother Mrs. Aletha Boggs. A special cousin Courtney Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don't ask questions: wait for hope to appear. Don’t run from trouble. Take it full face. The “worst” is never the worst - lamentations 3:29-30

Family and friends are welcome to visit from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00pm.
