ISON, Morgan Catherine Anne, Age 21 of Huber Heights, OH.
On the evening of January 18, 2020, surrounded by family and friends, the free and loving spirit of Morgan Catherine Anne Ison, aka, Morgie, Sweet Baby Girl, Peeps, Pealit, and Lou Bell, flew away home. Morgan was born to Lisa Cole Ison and Jeffery Ison on May 11, 1998. Morgan is survived by Mother (Mom) Lisa Ison, significant other Danny Bowyer, doting Maternal Grandparents Catherine (Cathy) Cook and 'Papaw' Mitchie (Herman Mitchell), along with Aunt Lillie and Uncle Jack Young, and their family, Aunt Kimberlee Mitchell (Brandon) Howard and niece Alarik. Morgan was preceded in death by her paternal Grandfather Elijah Ison, and is survived by Father (Daddy) Jeffery Ison, significant other Cheryl Parker and son Shandon, brother Jeffery S.C. Ison and niece Ruby, loving Grandmother Jossie Ison, aunts and uncles Stephanie & Steve Conner and family, Allen Ison & Lisa Jones and family, Tony & Sondra Ison and family, Marvin Ison and family, Elizabeth Flory and family, Robert & Evan Ison, Robin & Brad Nuse and family, Dale & Cyndi Ison and family, and Natalie & Rob Cureton. Morgan is survived by her 'babies,' Blue and Princess, and preceded by pets Sissy and Nana.
Morgan was a generous, beautiful, loving, and true friend to many. Among her many special friends were Alexandria (Lexy) Lorents, Monica Decker, Aaron Burgess, Alexis Noland, Brooklyn Mills, Michael (Gator) Cotterman, and Julia Moreno, as well as Marie Snowden, Gabby Moore, Haley Galloway, and Julz Sumner. Also included are her entire basketball and volleyball teams from Stebbins High School and hundreds of other friends as well as sweetheart Bryan Eisen.
Morgan graduated from Stebbins High School in 2016, studied at Sinclair Community College and became a Dental Assistant.
Morgan's free and loving spirit took wing on January 11, 2020, and her earthly body passed January 18, 2020 at 5:14 pm. We were blessed to have her in our lives for 21 wonderful years. We thank the EMTs, Soin Trauma and ICU teams, and Hospice of Dayton for giving us another week to hold Morgan's hands and kiss her beautiful face. We thank the many friends and family who sat with us, cried with us, prayed with us, brought food, and held our hands and provided support, along with the many who reached out to us in other ways. There will be a gathering of family and friends at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH, Friday, January 24, 2020, from 5 to 8 pm. A celebration of Morgan's life will be at the funeral home, Saturday, January 25 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Polk Grove Cemetery.
