Monte R. Hardin

Monte Ray Hardin, age 69, of Dayton, OH passed away on November 18, 201. Monte was born on April 21, 1950 in Dyaton, OH. He was the son of Boyd and Hazel (Hardison) Hardin.

For most of his working career, Monte was in the restaurant business. He was the owner of Monte's Roast Beef Restaurant on North Dixie Highway in Dayton, OH. In his spare time, he was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Elm Valley Fishing Club. He enjoyed being around the club and playing cards with his fishing pals.

Monte is survived by his loving children, son, Michael (Heather) Hardin of Dayton, OH and daughter, Amanda Hardin of Union City, IN.; 8 grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, Angie, Gabrielle, Hayley, Kain, Cheyenne and Madison; 2 great-grandsons, Axel and Lincoln; 2 brothers, Barry and Victor Hardin.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road,Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services celebrating Monte's life will immediately follow the visitation with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
