Monroe Conley
CONLEY, Monroe age 88 passed away October 9, 2011 at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 8, 1923 to the late, John and Lizzie and was the third of 11 children.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Frances Ward Conley of Paintsville, KY and his ten siblings including his brother, Theodore Conley.
He is survived by sister-in-law, Betty Conley; nephew, Kenneth (Beverly) Conley and Michael (Katherine) Conley; great niece, Jennifer Conley (Brian Karraker). The family would like to thank his loving care giver, Tina Bailey for all her care and support.
He retired from General Motors in 1977. He enjoyed gardening, garage sales, hunting, and fishing.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia RD. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
