Monnie Sanders

SANDERS, Monnie, age 69, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Lula Sanders, brothers, Floyd, Claude, Robert and Ronnie Sanders. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Philomenia Sanders, children, Beth (Rob) Landery, Monica (R.J.) Calmes, Yvonne Frowein, Fran (Jeff) Danner, Patty (Thomas) Oney and Montgomery Sanders, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister, Estelle (Ralph) and many nieces and nephews. He was a former employee of Dayton Etch, and later retired from General Motors after 30 years of service, was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, loved Bingo and was a wonderful husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family will receive guests Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (2300 South Smithville Road, Dayton, OH 45420) with Father Satish Joseph officiating the service.
