Mona A. Rudd

Mona A. Rudd passed away quietly in her home on January 8, 2023, at the age of 85. Mona was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on July 25, 1937 to the late Stella Prater. She had one brother, Glenn Prater; two sisters: Dorothy Haney and Maddie Voshall. Mona was married to Robert S. Rudd, whom she loved dearly. Together they had six children: Joanne DeLecce, James Rudd, Jeanie Landon, Judy Rudd, Robert J Rudd, and David Rudd. They also had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mona was preceded in death by her mother; husband; son, James; and daughters: Joanne and Judy. Mona was a devout Christian and is now with her Lord and Savior.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30pm officiated by Pastor Mark Koogler. Mona will be laid to rest next to her husband at Byron Cemetery.
