Moffat Andrew Barrett Jr., age 82, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Moffat was born in Booneville, KY on May 23, 1941 to the late Moffat Sr. & Nancy Barrett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Barrett.
Moffat is survived by his sons, Rodney (Kate) Barrett and Jason Barrett; granddaughters, Megan Barrett and Hannah Barrett; brother, Eugene Barrett; sisters, Janet McGuire and Juanita Ryker; special friends, Gene Clark and Janet Price; beloved dog, Kato; and many other relatives and friends.
Moffat came to Dayton in 1959. He worked for Dayton Press for 25 years and Advance Machinery for 27 years. Moffat was an avid Cincinnati Reds and UK Basketball fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Moffat's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
