Mitchell P. Hattemer, 53, of Homestead FL, passed away in his home on July 20, 2014 of natural causes.
Mitch grew up in Oakwood, OH before leaving to enter the Army. After his tour in Germany, he settled in Miami, FL where he worked for 15 years for Pro-Filers as a library contractor. Most recently he had finished technical school. He enjoyed magic and the art of illusion, nature, and had a soft spot for homeless cats.
Mitch will be deeply missed but his spirit will live on through his surviving family: sisters, Lisa Hattemer Thompson and husband, Ken; Jill Hattemer and husband Mark Misiorowski; and Holly Hattemer-Frey and husband, Jonathan Frey; as well as his nieces and nephew Sarah Creekmore and husband JP; Emily and Matthew Misiorowski.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gayle Hattemer of Coral Gables, FL. His father, Val P. Hattemer, of Dayton, OH followed him in death on July 23, 2014.
