Mitchell "ATTA BOY" Carter, age 69, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 27, 1946 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
He retired from Delphi Automotive after 36 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry (Nancy Jane) Carter; parents, Clyde and Geneva Carter; son, Bryan K. Carter; sister, Phyllis Tipton and nephew, Brad L. Tipton.
Mitchell is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra; daughters, Shannon N. (Chopper) Carter and Steffanie K. (Jason) Swinford; brother-in-law, Jerry Tipton; niece, Michelle (Chuck) Polland; grandchildren, Ryan, Kaylyn, Haley, Adam, Tucker, Lacy, Ty and Zoey; special family friend, Denise (Joe) Violet. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Following Mitchells wishes, the family will have a memorial party on Friday, December 11, 2015 starting at 6:00 pm at Shamrock Athletic Club, 820 Linden Ave., Dayton, OH 45410.
