Miriam "Irene" Mitchell, age 81, of Eaton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
Irene was born in Hyden, KY on May 6, 1940 to the late Charles Walter Hoskins & Dorthy (Wilson) Cook.
In addition to her Parents, Irene was preceded in death by her Step-father, John Cook; Brother, James G. Reising; Daughter, Lisa L. Mitchell; Son, Jeffrey C. Mitchell Sr; and Great-granddaughter, Alayna Lynn Mitchell Kreitzer.
Irene is survived by her Sons, Walter (Patti) A. Mitchell Sr. and Vincent "Todd" Mitchell; Daughter, Mary Beth Lucas of Cambria, Illinois; Brother, Charles E. Hoskins; Aunt, JoAnn Wilson Rutherford; 16 Grandchildren; 45 Great-grandchildren; one Great-great-grandchild; and many dear cousins, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11am-12pm at Agape Family Worship Center (4111 Mapleview Dr, Beavercreek, OH 45432). The service will follow at 12pm.
Irene will be laid to rest next to her daughter and son at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
