Enon, Ohio

Lt. Colonel Milt Rindahl, born on September 20, 1937, was a dedicated and decorated officer in the United States Air Force. He passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024. Known for his unwavering commitment to his country and deep faith, Milt read Psalm 91 over his family twice a day, drawing strength and comfort from these words of truth.

Milt's distinguished career in the Air Force was marked by exemplary service, leadership, and a profound sense of duty. His dedication to his fellow service members and his country was evident in every aspect of his life.

Milt graduated from Oakes High School in North Dakota and North Dakota State University, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He furthered his education with a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.

Beyond his professional achievements, Milt was known for his kindness, integrity, and commitment to his community and church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through both triumphs and challenges. Milt enjoyed watching "Give Him 15," "Flashpoint," and tackling challenging crossword puzzles. You would frequently find him enthusiastically supporting his favorite teams: the Purdue Boilermakers, the Cleveland Indians, and giving a special cheer for the North Dakota State Bison. Milt was a man of routine, walking a mile and a half six days a week. He took pride in maintaining his garden and ensuring the lawn was just right. Milt's dedication to civic duty was evident in his faithful service at every political election, working the polls and celebrating the freedom to vote. Milt devoted many years to serving as an Aglow advisor.

Milt is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kay Rindahl; his children, Jodi (Randie) Strom, Greg Rindahl, the late Julie (David) Goin, along with Lois Baker, faithful friend and ministry partner; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Albrecht; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Goin.
