Milton Arthur Jr.

Milton Arthur Jr., age 77 of Hillsboro, OH passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family Sunday, September 12, 2021 . He was born September 3, 1944 in Paintsville, KY to the late Milton and Mary (Hall) Arthur.

Left to cherish Milton's memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Gracie (Hatfield) Arthur; son, Dennie (Patricia Mitchell) Arthur, daughter, Sherry (Keith) Taylor; grandsons: Thomas (Candice) Taylor, Timothy Paul (Sarah) Arthur, and Jessica (Robert Davis) Arthur; great-grandchildren: Charlotte Ruth Taylor, Colt Hamilton Taylor; and Timothy Robert Arthur; daughter-in-law, Beth Arthur; siblings: Etta Mae, Maxine (Kurt), Sylvia Jo, Lester (Joyce), Elizabeth, and Edith (Daniel), Melvin (Pauline); and several other relatives and friends.

Milton worked tool & Die at the Laughter Corporation in Dayton, OH for 23 years. He also worked and retired from Airborne Express in Wilmington, OH. He was an avid automobile lover, and owned MTD Auto Sales in Xenia, OH. Milton was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church in Spring Valley, OH. Most of all, Milton enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Paul Arthur, sisters: Evolene and Marie; brother, Denver; and many other family members.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Silver Creek Cemetery, Jamestown, OH, following the funeral service
