age 90 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2006 after a two year illness. Milton was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Alma Mae "Sweetie Pie". He is survived by his son, Larry Alkire; daughters, Patricia Hoagland, Myrna (Robert) Caulfield; brother, Earl (Debbie) Alkire; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2006, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. with Chaplain Wylie Smith officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Wood Glen Nursing Center for taking such thoughtful care of Milton. Memorial contributions may be given in Milton's memory to Hospice of Dayton or Wood Glen Nursing Center Activity Department.
