Mildred Sweet

SWEET, Mildred, age 84, of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Trinity Retirement Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Pearl Thomas; daughter, Barbara Fenter; granddaughter, Susan Fenter; brother, Ed Thomas; and sister, Laura Bowling. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Ryland Sweet; daughter, Betty (Clyde) Hill; son, James Jr. (Shirley); daughter, Ellen Yearick; and son, Carl Dennis (Polly) Sweet; brother, Fred Thomas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a long time member of the East Dayton Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Services will be 11 am Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the funeral home.
