Mildred Pauline (nee: Barnes) Snyder, age 90, of Dayton, OH passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. She was born on June 8, 1924 in Somerset, KY. The daughter of the late Henry and Rushia Barnes.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elmer Snyder; brother, Clinton Barnes, sisters, Nora Barnes, Virginia Hartings, and Gladys Scales.
She is survived by her sons, Greg Snyder of Centerville, Tim Snyder of Dayton, daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Thomas Rauch of Centerville; 8 grandchildren, Bryan Rauch, Mike (Maggie) Rauch, Molly (Ryan) Sweeney, Jenny (Chad) Meckes, Greg (Elisha) Snyder, Samantha Snyder, Jeff Snyder, and Nick Snyder; 6 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bud Moening of Dayton, sister, Joyce Kunka of Jacksonville, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation is Thursday August 28, 2014 from 11am to 12am with Mass of Christian Burial starting at 12pm at St. Albert the Great, Kettering, OH.
Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
