Mildred McGeorge
Age 78, of Dayton (formerly of Pineville, KY), went Home to be with the Lord peacefully Monday, January 14, 2008, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Levi McGeorge, in 1986.
Mildred is survived by five children, Glenn & Lynn Smith, Paul McGeorge, Darlene Wilkes, Marilyn Kay & William Brown, and Timothy & Janet McGeorge; seven grandchildren, Sheila, Paul Levi, Patrick, Brian, Dustin, Daniel and Steven ; five great grandchildren; Brandon, Ian, Able, Noah and Olivia; and by one brother, Denver & Janet Grubbs.
Mildred was a life-long member of the Church of God, Tennessee Assembly. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home with Rev. Zeke Grigsby officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
