Mildred L. Lightner

Lightner, Mildred L., of West Alexandria, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the age of 80. She was born July 3, 1930 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Esco and Bessie Agnes (Champ) Hurst. Mildred is survived by her husband of 47 years: Rev. Dale Lightner; brother: Allen Esco Hurst of Shawnee, Oklahoma; nephews: Clifford Hurst and Bruce Hurst; and niece: Sheryl Angala. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Union Pentecostal Church, 1101 N. Union Road, Dayton, Ohio with Pastor Clifford Hurst officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Tecumseh Cemetery in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel).
