HELTON, Mildred Janet, age 72, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 in Xenia, OH. She was born April 11, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of the late Herbert N. and Mildred K. Buck. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Helton; daughter, Deborah Helton; sister, Eunice Evans; two brothers, Virgil Lee Buck and Jerry Buck. She is survived by two sons, Jesse (Jane) Helton of Fairborn, and Scott (Paula) Helton of Bossier City, Louisiana; one daughter, Sharon Campbell of Fairborn, OH; two brothers, Herbert D. Buck of Bloomington, IN, and Daryl (Angie) Buck of Solsberry, IN; five sisters, Gertrude Butcher of Bloomington, IN, Bea Kay Fulton of Indianapolis, IN, Judy (Stan) Baker of Greencastle, IN, Wanda (Phil) Bibbs of Anderson, IN, and Donna (Milton) Puckett of Bloomington, IN; 8 grandchildren, Matthew & Jessa Helton of Fairborn, Samantha, Brandin, and Nichole Helton of Bossier City, Louisiana, Amanda Campbell, Rachel Hamilton and Natasha Moreland all of Fairborn; 6 great-grandchildren; special friend, Harry Ashley of Fairborn, OH. Janet served in the US Army as a nurse and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. She attended Faith Hill Church of God in Fairborn. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Faith Hill Church of God (35 Vanderbilt, Fairborn, OH) where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tooney Easterling officiating. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery.
