Mildred Hamblin

Mildred Hamblin, age 85 of Dayton, reunited with her husband, Arnold Hamblin on May 12, 2017. She was born February 14, 1932 in Gatliff, KY to the late Albert and Clara (Bennett) McKiddy. In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her daughters, Rhonda Leiffer and Karen Hamblin; son, Stanley Hamblin; sister, Hildred (Booties) Smith.

She is survived by her 3 children, Lana (Ronald) Keaton, Bruce Hamblin and Larry (Jennifer) Hamblin; grandchildren, Melissa Keaton, Ronald Keaton II, Michael Malesko, Bridget Malesko, Travis Hamblin, Tom and Ben Gill; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; very special best friend, Shelby and Ray Deck and a host of extended family and friends.

Mildred worked in the bakery at Rike's in downtown Dayton for over 20 years. She loved visiting with her family and spending as much time as possible with them.

Family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM with Pastor Mark Chestnut officiating. Interment will follow the service at Willow View Cemetery.
