GUY, Mildred E. (Baesman), age 93, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 27, 2012.
Born on March 31, 1918, she lived her whole life in North Dayton and Vandalia, Ohio. A 1936 graduate of Kiser H.S., she married Charles R. Guy in 1939 and helped with the family plumbing business for many years.
She was active in St. John's Lutheran Church in Vandalia and the Vandalia Sr. Citizen Center. She was an avid watercolorist and card player.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles and son, Charles Jr.
Treasuring her memory are daughters, Pat Muterspaw (Dick), Jean Palmer (Richard, deceased), Nancy Szkarupa (Al), and Cheryl Caudill (Paul). She has 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Holly James for her loving care of their mother and her grandmother.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
The family will receive friends, Friday March 30, 2012 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, 122 W. National Rd., Vandalia Oh, with Pastor Gil Santiago officiating. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
