Mildred Christine (Farish) Bowser, "Millie",age 88, of Germantown, passed away peacefully at her home on August 3, 2022.
She was born February 26, 1934 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Jerry Meyer and Ada (Bishop) Farish.Millie was a member of the Middletown/Franklin Congregation of Jehovah Witness. She was a Pastry Chef at La Comedia Dinner Theater for more than 15 years. Over the years, Millie touched many lives through her talents as a Seamstress and Crafter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Sylvia Ann Payne and Dorothy Eppard, her brothers Franklin Meyer Farish and Wayne Delano Farish, her husband, Ralph L. Bowser, and her first husband Richard Nelson Marburger Sr.
Millie is survived by her son Richard N. Marburger Jr.; her granddaughter Jenna (Robert) Stettler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Millie was a beloved Mom and Granny. She will always be remembered for her cooking and sewing and for teaching others those crafts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
Burial will follow at Beavertown Cemetery.
