Mildred Back

Mildred Louise Back, age 80, of Dayton, passed away February 3, 2022. She was born September 2, 1941 in Platform, Ohio to the late Henry and Hattie Smith. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, John Back.

Mildred is survived by her children: Vicki Colwell, Tena Potts (Dennis) and Jay Jackson (Lori); 8 grandchildren: Chris, Dusty, Christy, Shannon, Amy, Kaitlyn, Haylee and Hannah; 5 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Ollie, Waylon, Grayson and Priscilla; brother, James Smith (Rosalie); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mildred attended Riverside Nazarene Church for many years. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Mildred never met a stranger, you were always welcome in her home and she loved her yard work.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30 am.
