Miladene Ellis

Miladene Ellis, 95, died November 3, 2012, in Miamisburg. She is survived by four sons and a daughter: Kenneth W. Ray, Randall B. Ray, Gayle S. Ray, Delores K. Westfall, and Eddy G. Ellis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was born April 6, 1917, in McLean Co., KY, to James Leonard Smith and Addie Whitaker Smith. She was educated in the public schools of McLean County. During her working life, she was a homemaker, a farm worker, and a salesclerk. She was a member of Farmersville Baptist Church, Farmersville, OH.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m. EST, at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, Kettering, OH, with Pastors Dustin Vorhis and Tommy Vorhis officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow on Wednesday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m. CST, at Poplar Grove Cemetery, Sacramento, KY.
