Mike Hackett

Hackett, Michael "Mike" E., age 66, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008. Mike was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dayton. Mike was a volunteer with Little League for over 32 years, the last 15 serving as Ohio District 8 Little League Administrator.

Mike is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Aaron (Mary) Hackett of Rockville, MD; daughter: Shannon Hackett; grandson: Brayden Mattimore; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dennis Hackett, Terry Hackett, Bruce (Cathy) Hackett, Kevin (Brandy) Hackett, Luke (Venus) Hackett; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: James E. & Jane Hackett.

A Memorial Mass will be said on FRIDAY, October 31, 2008 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1322 Brown St., Dayton with Father Dan Meyer Celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering on WEDNESDAY from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M.
