Ethyl Mignon Martin, age 91, of Champion, Michigan, passed away December 13, 2023. She was born on November 20, 1932 in Fristoe, Missouri to the late Rachel and Ivan Bailey.
Mignon is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Martin; daughter, Shelia Crum; son, Sam Miller and son, Ivan Sypolt.
She is survived by her brother, Floyd; children, Gene, Kathy (Richard), Roy, Sue (Chris), Ronald, Jimmy (Kathy); grandchildren, Kimberly, Peter, Jennifer, Roy Jr., Melissa, Rachel, Timothy, Troy, Kyle, Sam and Ava; many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other loving family members. Her grandchildren were the "apple of her eye".
Mignon loved her family more than life. She enjoyed gardening in her flower garden. She also enjoyed cooking. She enjoyed people, her job as a waitress at the North Wood Supper Club, where she worked for 15 years.
Her home was very important to her, sewing and making quilts. A stranger was someone she couldn't wait to meet.
