Michelle O'Neal Oliver

Michelle O'Neal Oliver, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on April 1, 1962, in Ayrshire, Scotland, Michelle lived a vibrant life filled with love and joy.

Known for her outgoing personality, Michelle could easily strike up a conversation with anyone who crossed her path. Her innate ability to connect with others made her a cherished figure in the lives of those who knew her. 

Gardening and DIY projects were among Michelle's favorite pastimes. She took great pride in her garden. The joy she found in transforming spaces and watching them flourish mirrored her approach to life—filled with care, dedication, and a touch of artistry.

Michelle was immensely proud of her son, Maurice Allen Oliver, who she regarded as her greatest accomplishment. She was unwavering in her support for him, celebrating each of his milestones with boundless enthusiasm. Her connection to family was paramount, as highlighted by the love she shared with her sisters, Trudy Staas and Kim O'Neal, and her dear niece and nephew, Alexa O'Connell and Tyler Staas.

In addition to her immediate family, Michelle is reunited in spirit with her cherished parents, Maurice and Alexa O'Neal, and her loving husband, Richard Oliver. Though they have departed from this world, their influence and memory will continue to permeate the lives of those who remain.

Visitation to honor Michelle will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH, on October 9, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH, on October 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

Michelle O'Neal Oliver will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
