Michelle Hogg

Michelle Hogg "Shelly" age 60, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center with complications following a recent kidney transplant surgery. She was born February 27, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Thomas Hogg Sr. and Kay Sexton.
She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Edward Hogg Sr., paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and cousins.

Michelle is survived by her mother Kay Sexton and her brother Tom (Dara) Hogg. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Michelle was a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a BS in Computer Science and Information Technology. She was employed by Woolpert Engineering and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She had a great love for the hills of Kentucky and West Virginia where she had numerous relatives. Michelle's family and friends were very important to her. After disability retirement, she was able to enjoy her love of crafting, gardening, cooking, reading, ancestry, and most importantly her cats and kids. Her love of children extended to family and friends alike who referred to her as "Aunt Michelle". She was much loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Rest in peace our sweet Michelle.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Kettering Chapel. Funeral Service will be held the following day at 11:00 am on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Kettering Chapel. Michelle will then be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
