Fann, Michelle D. (Stringer), age 47, of Moraine, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012. Michelle graduated from Vandalia-Butler High School in 1983 and spent her career as a legal secretary and went on to become a Paralegal, currently working at the Federal District Court in Dayton.
Michelle is survived by her husband: Paul Fann, son: Adam Lipps; daughter and son-in-law: Gleda (Jeremy) Byrge; mother and step father: Sandra & Donald "Butch" Shade; siblings: Jeffry Stringer, Carlene (Lee) Thompson-Hoover, Anessa (David) Gilbride; step sister: Aimee Shade; step brothers: Jason (Colleen) Shade and Sean Shade; mother-in-law: Jewel Fann; brothers-in-law: Cohen (Linda) King Sr. & Carl Fann; her beloved dog: Patch; long time friend and employer: David Rickert; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Carl Stringer; and father-in-law: Earl "Buddy" Fann.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society in memory of Michelle.
