Michael C. Vallo, age 80 of Vandalia, passed away October 7, 2020. He was born July 28, 1940 in Minster, Ohio to the late Paul and Alma Vallo. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, James Vallo.
Mike is survived his children: Tony Vallo (Diana), Patty Price and Nicky Smith (Joe); 7 grandchildren: Courtney Vallo, Kayla Wilson (Steve), Gracie Price, Buddy Price, Joseph Smith, Megan Smith and Matthew Smith; great-grandchildren: Sophia and Stella Wilson; brother, Roger Vallo (Doris); the mother of his children, Connie Gitzinger; nieces: Sharon and Jill; and nephews: Mike and Chris.
Mike worked for TWA for 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. Mike was a loving father and grandfather; and loved his dogs and grand-dogs.
Private services have been entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Mike will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
