Michael G. Stewart

Michael G. Stewart, age 52 of Dayton, passed away August 24, 2017. He was born September 25, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio. Mike was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Jo Stewart; brother, Brandin Farmer; and daughter, Tabitha Stewart.

Mike is survived by his parents: Jerry Sr. and Phyllis (Jones) Farmer; children: Ronnie Neal (Brandy) Gillispie, Joey (Britney) Gillispie and Nick Stewart; grandchildren: Braydon Meade, Logan Jones, Baylee Gillispie, Kaylee Gillispie and Ava Gillispie; siblings: Charles (Tammy) Farmer, Gayle (Steve) Shanks, Ronald (Kelsey) Farmer, Lisa Stewart, Jerry Jr. (Paggie) Farmer, Wendell Farmer and Jason Farmer; sister-in-law, Tina (Dave) Grider; nieces and nephews: Tiffany Farmer, Brandon Shanks, Christopher Shanks, Jonathon Shanks, Mat Gibbs, Danielle Frazier, Ashley Farmer, Jerry Farmer III, Rebecca Farmer, Jacob Farmer, Josh Middleton, Donnie Middleton, Ashley Howard, Andrew Grider and Sharon Ann Farmer.

Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an employee of Cundiff Town and Country Tree Service. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who loved to deer hunt, but more importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
