Michael "Mike" Shotts, age 52, of Dayton, passed away on January 20, 2022. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on June 24, 1969, the son of the late Michael Shotts and Frances "Pam" Hartzell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Shotts; and his step-father, James "Jim" Hartzell.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Kimberly "Kim" Shotts; mother, Frances "Pam" Hartzell; his daughters, Chelsea Brown and Elizabeth (Gavin Ransom) Shotts; his son, Quentin Shotts; grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter Brown; brothers, Stephen Hartzell and Rob Hartzell; sister, Taylor Harris; step-mother, Vicky Shotts; mother-in-law, Mona Chapman; and many other loving family and friends.
He was a graduate of Northridge High School, Class of 1987. Mike was employed with Hart & Cooley LLC. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, playing poker and shooting pool. Mike had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. He had a big heart and was very loyal to those he loved. Mike was always there to help anyone he knew that was in need of help. He had a very big presence and everyone knew when Mike had arrived. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Englewood Christian Assembly of God, 415 N. Main St., Englewood, OH 45322.
