Michael S. Hawley Sr., 63, of Dayton, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014.
He was born October 30, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of the late William and Mary (Bucher) Hawley.
Mike retired from DP&L after 32 years of service. The two biggest loves of Mike's life were Notre Dame and his grandson, Dylan.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael Stephen (Brenda Fields) Hawley Jr; Scott (Carole (Coulter)) Hawley; precious grandson, Dylan; brothers, Bill and Danny; sister, Patricia; numerous nephews and many good friends.
A visitation will be held from 5-6 PM Monday, June 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, where a memorial service will begin at 6 PM Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
