A Time to Be Born: Michael Shavonte Ruffin-White was the second child born on October 19, 1997 in Chicago IL to the proud parents Hanna Ruffin-Clegg and Michael "Woogie" White. Michael is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather Henry Ruffin and first cousin Sharmaine Sargent.
A Time to Live: Michael grew-up in Riverdale, Illinois and in 2016 he moved to Ohio, he was an outgoing young man who loved cracking jokes and had no problem with speaking his mind. Everyone who met Michael loved his beautiful smile and his deep dimples. Michael always made sure his appearance and clothes was together when he was a little boy anytime his clothes didn't match his shoes he would have a tantrum and as an adult he was the same way. Michael was a provider, he loved providing for his family and would do anything to protect them.
A Time to Learn: Michael graduated in 2013 from Roosevelt Elementary School in Riverdale, IL. He graduated from Xenia High School in 2017.
A Time to Start a Family: One of the happiest day of Michael's life when he became the proud father of his only child, a son Krue Shavonte Ruffin, born in 2018.
A Time to Say Goodbye: On Saturday, September 5, 2020 Michael was tragically killed in a car accident, the sunset forever on Michael; time had ceased, laughter had become still; plans were cancelled; his earthly life ended and his eternal life began.
A Time to Mourn: Michael beautiful smile and deep dimples will linger in our hearts forever as he will be truly missed by his: Mother Hanna Ruffin-Clegg (Lemenzo Clegg); Father Michael "Woogie" White; Sisters; Hannah, Allante, Lazarreah, Malaiya, Layla, Harmony, & Honesty; Brothers Amari, Taberrius, Saivon, De'Andre, Shamar, Mekhii, & Myshawn ; Maternal Grandmother Brend Fay(Larry Fay) of Las Vegas, NV; Paternal Grandparents Glenda White & Calvin Brown; Five Uncles Isaiah, Anton, Essac, Richard, & Larry; Seven Aunts Sandra, Carmia, Hariah, Hendrea ,Hoshea, Leah & Sharee And a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins other family members, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020, from 10:00am-11:00am at New Life Christian Assembly, 436 E. Main St., Xenia, OH 45385, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am with Pastor Robert Murphy officiating.
