Michael &Quot;Mike&Quot; Boos

BOOS, Michael "Mike", 54, of Beavercreek passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007 while on a business trip to Chicago, Illinois. He was the second of four children, and was born on January 31, 1953 to William and Nettie (Ochs) Boos in Dayton, Ohio. He was active in the music program while in high school, participating in the marching band and various musical productions that were staged during his years there. He graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1971. Mike was first employed at the Ohio Printing Company, following in his father's footsteps to enter the printing trade. His most recent employment was with Antioch Publishing in Yellow Springs. He was representing this company at a trade show in Chicago when he passed away. He married his high school sweetheart. Pandy Presley, on August 26, 1972. They recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with the birth of two sons, Steve and Jeff, who have since grown and have families of their own. Mike was an avid fisherman, and many happy years have been spent with family and friends on an annual trip to Canada. Mike understood the importance of family and his greatest joys in life revolved around those happy times, whether on vacation, during the holidays, or just stopping by for a visit to say hello. He is survived by his wife, Pandy; two sons Steve (Pam) and Jeff (Cari) Boos; one grandson, Ayden; his parents , one brother Dave (Rhonda) Boos; two sisters Brenda (Roland) Markee and Becky (Hossien) Mirdamad; mother-in-law Myrtle Parham; brother-in-law Greg (Patty) Presley; three nieces; two nephews; and numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 4:00PM Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00PM Saturday prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flower contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
