Michael E. Plunket

Michael E. Plunket, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born on August 11, 1951 in Dayton, OH to the late Jackie and Chester Plunket Jr.

Mike enjoyed singing, reading the Bible, bird watching and watching OSU Football. He loved spending time with family, especially his children, grandchildren and fur babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Plunket.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Plunket; his children, Craig (Tammy) Plunket, Crista Plunket, Casey (Tony) Martin, Cheryl (Dewayne) Bruce and Mark Riley; his grandchildren, Zachary (Bekah) Hart, Alex (Emily) Plunket, Parker Collins-Riley, Amanda Plunket, Andrew (Victoria) Hart, Collin (Sherry) Riley, Kristina (Victor) Stein, Mackenzie Hart and Braylon Martin; his great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ezra, Jackson, James, Maverick and Autumn; his siblings, Karen (Gary) McBride, Janet (David) Bonnell, Keith (Maria) Plunket and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his church family at Vandalia Grace Brethren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.

Mike will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
