Michael L. Phipps, age 67, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. He was born on February 6, 1956 in Dayton, OH to the late Alma and Ulus Phipps.
Michael was a loving father and grandfather. He was a dedicated Truck Driver for 30+ years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, frisbee golf, and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Michael loved his best friend (dog) Brutus. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James D. Phipps and his brother-in-law, David Tyzzer.
He is survived by his children, April M. (Jason) Peavler and Michael Lee (Elizabeth) Phipps; his grandchildren, Lonnie Peavler, Lincon Peavler, Ezekiel Phipps, Milo Phipps, Silas Phipps; his great-granddaughter, Hadleigh Peavler; his siblings, Richard (Nikkie) Phipps, Barbara Tyzzer, Keith (Almeda) Phipps and Loretta (Paul) Fields. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with services immediately following all at, Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Michael will be laid to rest in Willow View Cemetery.
