Pett, Michael W., age 38, of Dayton passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2016 at his home.
Michael was born December 7, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio to John Pett and Sharon (Miller) Hinders.
He was a 1997 graduate of Beavercreek High School and was a respected plumber and owner of Plumbing Doctor of Dayton, LLC. His career mentor is Jim Pinney with whom Michael shared a deep friendship.
Michael (the Fixer) enjoyed working with his hands and was quite mechanically inclined. He deeply loved his family and was a beloved husband and father; caring friend; and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving wife Erin; sons Easton and Kaden; his parents; step-mother Jeannette Pett; father-in-law Richard Coyan; brothers Brandon Kollar and Dave Pett; sisters Joan Lochner, Patricia Pett and Abigail Pett; beloved aunt Carolyn Mitchell as well as numerous other friends and family.
A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering with interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Michael's family will greet friends from 12:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family asks you to consider a donation to Dayton Children's Hospital or a donation directly to his children.
