Michael David Odum

Master Sergeant Michael David "Mike" Odum, age 70, of Huber Heights, passed away on March 9, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on July 13, 1951, the son of the late David and Jo Ann Odum.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Rico Belgar.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Eulalia Odum; son, Valentino Belgar; grandchildren, Rachel Lyn, Rochelle Marie, Elijah and Aleah; many great grandchildren; siblings, Pat Odum, Bill Odum, Sandy Odum and Jackie Odum; and many other loving family and friends.

Mike served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, from which he retired after 24 years of service. After retirement from the Air Force, he retired a second time from AT&T, where he managed the Telecommunications Department. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and BNP for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed anything having to do with electronics/computers, watching TV, cookouts, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where a Blessing Service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery with Air Force Honors.
