Michael A. Mingl

Michael Allan Mingl, age 77, of Dayton passed away on August 28, 2024. He was born in Dayton on May 29, 1947 to the late Michael Mingl and Kathryn Tichy. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents and aunt, Betty. 

He is survived by his children, Lori Naughton, Mike (Sherry) Mingl; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Kathy (Joe) Wellbrock, Verb (Teresa) Comer and nephew, Brian (Amie) Inskeep; along with many other family and friends.

Michael served his country during the Vietnam War as a member the United States Army. After the military, he worked for several law enforcement agencies until his retirement. Michael will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who loved him. 

Family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Day City Hospice, especially Amber, Lisa and Krista. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors to follow at David's Cemetery in Kettering.
