Michael Ryan Lee, age 31 of Beavercreek, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at home. He was born June 15, 1991 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the son of Richard and Janice Lee.
Mike attended Bethlehem Christian School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and then graduated from Minooka Community High School in Minooka, Illinois in 2010. He received his BS in Accounting from Cedarville University in 2014, a Master's degree in Accounting from Liberty University, and was currently working towards a Master's degree in Business Analytics from Cedarville University. Mike worked for Reynolds & Reynolds for 8 years before his most recent career as a data analyst at Johnson Electric.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors including, biking, hiking, and disc golf. He also enjoyed competitive shooting and was a range safety officer at Cedarville University. He had a passion for technology and a devotion for serving at his church, Hillside Chapel, as an audio and video volunteer; he loved Jesus and serving Him in this way. Mike will be remembered for being a loyal friend and for his love of dogs, but definitely not cats. Family meant everything to him and he will be missed as a husband, father, son, brother and a friend.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee.
Mike met the love of his life in 2018 and they were married on March 21, 2020.
Mike is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Ethan and one on the way; mother, Janice Lee nee Dehner; siblings, Deanna (Patrick) Foley and Jason Lee; nieces, Molly and Nora Foley; in-laws, Jim and Kathy Williamson; brother-in-law, Matthew Williamson, and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an education fund for his children or to the Les Turner ALS Foundation in Mike's honor.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at Hillside Chapel (3515 Shakertown Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45430).
