Michael Angelo Lala passed away Thursday, Oct. 4th, 2012 at the age of 68 with his family by his side. Michael was a graduate of Chaminade High School and soon after served his county in the Army Reserve. While still in the military and working at Instralab, where he worked for nearly 45 years, he met his future wife Mary of 44 years. They happily raised three children together.
He had a love for antiques, collecting and refinishing furniture. Through out his life, he made great friends and enjoyed the comradery that it brought. Along with many friends, Micheal also enjoyed and loved his large family. Being one of twelve siblings, family was very important to him. Michael was a very honest, loving man who never met a stranger. He always had a jovial smile and a big heart.
He is survived by his wife Mary, his son Matthew Lala, daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Robert Rowe and daughter Michele Robson-Lala. Grandchildren Jordan Robson-Lala, Chelsea Kuruzovich, Katherine Rowe and Leanna and Jaben Cargman. Great grandchildren Zaish, Evelyn and Annabell Rose. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, John Lala, Julia Brodnick, Ida Scheidweiler, Josephine Safriet and Joan Semons and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek.
